I have a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing and have been teaching for over 20 years. I've taught writing of all kinds, from personal essays and academic writing to fiction, poetry, and screenwriting. No matter what I'm teaching, my classes are designed to be fun and inspiring. I make sure that students have time and space to be creative, or, if the focus is academic, to delve deeply into their writing, understanding not just how to write, but why it works and build the tools they need to do it on their own.

VIRTUAL
Sketch + Story Club
For Tweens and Teens, ages 10–13 and 13–16.
This club is for students who love to draw, write, or find inspiration in artwork. This club invites them to explore all! Each week, we’ll look at a work of art and use it as a springboard for creativity. Students can choose to sketch or write, responding in the medium that feels right for them.
Join anytime! This ongoing club meets virtually once per week for 45 minutes in 8-week cycles.
Cost: $130 for 8 weeks
